We’re hiring a Manager to our Digital team. We’re looking for someone that possesses strong leadership and client management skills and is able to think proactively and holistically. A strong background in media and digital marketing with interest in furthering their career as a digital marketing expert. A passionate knowledge of the fashion, beauty, tech and lifestyle landscape is pivotal, along with an
insatiable thirst for innovation in the digital world. The position calls for an experienced communicator, client facing professional powerhouse, enthusiastic social media consumer, content creator and pioneering media strategist —who is both analytical and creative—with the ability to conceive and execute engaging campaigns. This person will report to the VP of Digital and mentor a dynamic junior team including a coordinator, assistants, and interns.

Strategic + Stellar Deliverables: Develop and conceptualize strong event, campaign, and activation concepts for clients. Track and compile analytics to present in weekly, monthly, and yearly reports. Own the internal social media calendar for the Agency, create engaging and compelling content, and assist the VP of Digital and Digital Supervisors with the Agency’s internal holistic media strategy. Stay informed of trends on Social Media and identify key opportunities for clients: Sound and visual trends on TikTok, emerging influencer talent, video editing trends, and more.

Influencer Partnerships + Strategies: Negotiate and execute paid and organic influencer campaigns, list curation, contracting, tracking and reporting. Build Relationships: Lead client calls and manage daily relationships, tasks, deliverables, and action items while also being able to identify, establish and manage brand ambassador programs, creators and tastemakers to partner with brands in the fashion, beauty, lifestyle, and tech spaces. Collaborate and communicate across teams and verticals to report real-time updates.

Create: Execute social media strategies including creative, monthly calendar, copywriting, and campaign amplification.

Mentor: share your knowledge and expertise with junior team members to cultivate growth at every level.

Experience: 4+ years experience in Influencer Marketing and a strong understanding of Social Media and overall digital media landscape. Proficiency in powerpoint, Canva, Photoshop, Lefty, Tagger, Launch Metrics, Sprout and various other influencer, social media, and editing programs.

Skills for Days: Strong writing, communication and confident presentation skills to effectively articulate ideas to clients and team members alike, exemplary organizational skills, attention to detail and follow up. Knowledge of analytics and reporting tools.
Insatiable Interest: Strong passion for influencer marketing, proficiency in tracking & reporting on influencer initiatives & campaigns. An understanding & experience managing all social platforms (TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest). Graphic design skills, or the eagerness to develop this skill. Content creation experience and strong personal interest in current social media content trends.

Wins to Build On: Excellent track record with time management and creative problem solving skills. Project management skills and ability to prioritize tasks for yourself and junior staff. Experience developing content marketing strategies and overseeing content development specifically for social media platforms.

Factory PR’s seeks Public Relations Interns for our Spring 2025 term which runs from January 6th through May 16th in our NYC & LA offices. We are hiring for our Fashion (NY & LA), Beauty, Tech Innovation + Design and Digital teams. The candidates should be tapped in culturally and have a genuine passion for the public relations and relevant fields. We’re looking for dedicated, motivated and passionate individuals who can multitask, work in a fast-paced environment and who want to learn from a great team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Public Relations – Beauty, Wellness, Fashion and VIP (in LA office), & Tech/Innovation/Design:

  • Organize and merchandise samples and client collections
  • Traffic samples to publications and stylists
  • Scan and lay out press clips in Photoshop
  • Conduct competitive research in fashion, beauty and tech/design
  • Compile and update media lists
  • Update client reports
  • Create PR pitches
  • Handle press mailings
  • Assist with the planning and execution of events including parties, fashion shows and presentations

Digital Team – Social & Influencer

  • Identify influencer/brand ambassador programs
  • Identify key influencers, bloggers and online media in designated verticals
  • Write compelling and engaging social content
  • Develop strategically led ideas for building brands via Social
  • Compile weekly and monthly reporting and analytics
  • Research trends, happenings, etc

REQUIREMENTS

  • Background of study in relevant field
  • Must be able to commit to 3-5 days per week
  • Participation in a PR 101 course taught by our directors & complete assignment at end of term
  • Must have experience with Word, Excel, Powerpoint. Photoshop a plus

COMPENSATION

  • This is an unpaid internship but there is a monthly stipend for travel expenses or miscellaneous costs
  • Will be able to earn school credit if needed through our 8-week PR 101 course
