Factory PR seeks a Digital Director. The candidate should posses an insatiable thirst for innovation in the digital world. The position calls for an experienced and mature communicator, an expert media strategist, enthusiastic social media consumer—who is both analytical and creative—and a strong leader with the ability to conceive and execute big ideas.

This position, reporting to the Managing Partner, will involve social media, online marketing and campaign amplification, a forward-thinking approach to the engagement of influencers, original multimedia content creation and brilliant tactics to develop strategies for clients ranging from luxury fashion brands and retail giants to innovation start ups and household name enterprise.

  • Liaise directly with key agency clients
  • Join pitch team for business development
  • Provide strategic insight and counsel to agency as a whole
  • Educate staff and clients on digital and social media best practice
  • Partner with Content Creation team to develop strategies to amplify engagement and reach
  • Responsible for day-to-day stewardship of the business, managing budgets and billing
  • Keep current with industry developments, trends and interpret appropriate applications to these changes for all accounts
  • Run influencer marketing program
  • Oversee creation of creative assets – video, photo, written
  • Contribute to and attend new business pitches
  • Constantly search for what’s new, what’s next and how we as an Agency can innovate in the digital space
  • Oversee Factory’s social platforms and use them to demonstrate our digital capabilities
  • Minimum 7-8 years of digital and social media experience
  • Collaborative, Agency background preferred
  • Experience in fashion, tech and/or millennial-focused consumer lifestyle brands
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Functional knowledge with analytics and reporting
  • Excellent computer skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint
  • High level of initiative and proven ability to work independently on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent time management and project management skills
  • Strong organizational, planning, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Experience developing content marketing strategies and overseeing content development specifically for social media platforms
  • Experience amplifying campaigns and content and building online marketing strategies
